The 2016 measuring magnifier is a wide-angle magnifier with 15x magnification in combination with a glass scale with 0.1 mm incrementation. This magnifier has been redesigned for focussed observation of the entire 20 mm diameter field at a magnification factor of 15 x. The field curvature as well as the lateral chromatic deviation have been corrected perfectly by a combination of four lenses.
