This model is a water-cooled sensor that measures heat flow. The Gardon gauge sensor is based on copper and copper alloys and operates at levels of heat flow that other sensors cannot withstand. Optionally, it can be fitted with a sapphire crystal window; to measure radiative heat flux only, not convection heat flux. This sensor has a built-in K-type thermocouple and is available with different dedicated measuring ranges.

-30 to +800 °C (sensor, copper housing)
-30 to +650 °C (black coating)
-30 to +250 °C (cable)
-30 to +200 °C (sensor body)
-30 to +105 °C (cable termination ends)
